iNearby

iNearby was initially released in June 2024 with Build 1. It was an exciting moment after a lot of long hours. We had a few principles we wanted to adhere to with our initial release:
- No Ads
- No Subscriptions
- No In-App Purchases
- No Use of Personal Data

During our own travels, we often found ourselves a little tired after a day of adventure, or a long flight, and simply wanted to know where the closest <insert place here> was.
We were tired of having to open the Maps app and being faced with endless map items that we needed to sort through to find what we needed.
We took a more logical approach based on the assumption that you already know what you are looking for.

The app starts with a text driven navigation menu that categorizes all map items. Once you have your desired list of results, you can pull up the corresponding place card of your choice that will allow you to:
- navigate to the place,
- view the place’s website,
- call the place for more info, or
- simply view its location in Maps.

We have since added a Translator and Tip Calculator. More features are coming so keep updating your app.
